CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST PROVIDING

THERAPY AND PSYCHOLOGICAL CONSULTATION

TO THE HOUSTON COMMUNITY

My commitment is to provide high quality, evidence-based care to my clients in an engaging, collaborative, and highly supportive manner. Whether my clients are seeking assistance in coping with the slings and arrows of life or seeking to broaden their horizons, I view their decision to seek professional guidance as a bold and meaningful step in the right direction. I am a strong advocate of therapy strategies that are supported by the most up-to-date research. When using these strategies, I am committed to tailoring them to build on client strengths while meeting each client’s unique concerns and circumstances. My therapeutic style is casual and is marked by mutual collaboration, fresh perspective taking, active learning, and warm humor. My treatment philosophy is guided by my years as a clinical psychologist and is centered around fostering personal growth and well-being through the promotion of enhanced self-awareness, productive thinking, and healthy behaviors.

Psychological well-being is not the fleeting experience of joy that sweeps over us when good fortune happens our way. Alternatively, psychological well-being is not merely being “symptom free.” Psychological well-being is born out of personal growth, requires that we have a meaningful understanding of - and compassion for - ourselves and others, and occurs when our thoughts and actions are productive and congruent with our life goals.
